The battle that began in Eden, yet rages. Thus, let none take lightly their keeping here on this planet…for God Alone Victoriously Fights our Battles for us. And we…press on, amen!

There is a battle going on… from dawn to dawn But, through God’s Mercy and Grace… we persevere the legions…faced Our skies may be anything…but blue yet, Almighty God is our Refuge Hearts may rend, still we’re assured… by ‘His’ mandate…we will endure And though we may err in the way ‘His’ Everlasting Love…is hope and stay There’s a war…between heaven and hell not ours, at all…but God’s to tell Albeit, ‘His Victory’ will again…encore with the Blood of Jesus as…Conqueror! There are many instances of a wrathful God in the Bible. There are also instances of "chosen" people, particularly those who believe or belong to a certain way. Whole civilizations are dismissed or even conquered in the name of securing "the promised land," like what is happening right now in Palestine with the Jewish takeover of land that once was free for anyone to use for grazing because it is unsustainable without heavy use of technology and other resources.

When religions disagree, war seems inevitable. In the worst offenders are those who are the most religious, conservative and steadfast in their views. Most often turning to force to impose their ways on anyone who falls within their narrow-minded jurisdiction.

It is good to have a refuge in God. This haven is sorely needed during these times of disease but also during these times that persist when nations (creatures of God) fight one another and kill and maim and commit genocide in His name. How sad must God be to witness this. There is one God for all... ...and manmade religions are not of God. At least not the God I believe in. Thank you for sharing, Joyce.
