Our Love Relationship with Jesus Christ...is not an Affair. Affairs have a time to start and a time end. Our Love Relationship with God is ...Much More...than a Love Affair for, He has Always Loved us and Always will...Eternally!

*Words spoken...but not meant* *actions taken...leading to false intent* *Often...for only a moment in time* *can we call someone...'mine'* *Then we're stripped bare...* *But Jesus' Love is...more than a love affair* *Passion and desire...roar through our loins* *forever...we vow...we'll never unjoin* *Then the enemy shoots forth a fiery dart* *and from out of nowhere...comes the decision...let's part* *Just when we need someone strong...all have left* *there's no one to comfort...when you're needy and bereft* *What happened to all the care?* *Ah, but Jesus' Love it's...more than a love affair* *Deeper than any surging ocean...* *He knows our every emotion* *Higher than any rugged mountain...* *we can nourish daily at His fountain* *Wider than any raging sea...* *that's how the Prince of Peace provides for you and me* *And He always...lets us know...He's near* *Jesus' Love is...more than a love affair* *He looks beyond our faults...* *catches us when we somersault* *We're never an embarrassment to 'Him'...* *His Precious Blood doesn't run thin* *Our relationship He'll never cut short...* *He simply sees clay...that needs more wrought* *and He steadily eradicates all doubts...all fears* *Jesus' Glorious Love!...it’s more than a love affair!* *Unending and untiring is His band...* *none can snatch us out of His hand* *Our Knight in shining armor!...our ever reigning King!* *our bond far surpasses a lover's fling...* *For it is a standard for all to see...* *be it good times or in the midst of calamities!* *This union even the world's demise…cannot tear* *Jesus' Sweet Love...it's more than a love affair!* *Let the stars and moon...refuse to shine...* *let the water's ignore boundaries...and flood mankind!* *Let the screaming hurricane howl!* *we are still His...heart, mind, soul and bowel* *Let the mighty hills tumble...* *this song we have...will 'never' crumble!* *For it reaches into the heavens and is anchored there!* *Our Redeemer's Love...?!* *Oh, it’s more...much, much more...* *than a mere...Love Affair!* *Is 43:1-2,* *46:4-5,49:15-16, 54:5-6, Heb 13:8, 1Jn 3:1* copyright; jmsbell/2007

Holding on to Jesus, the myth, it is like having an imaginary friend. The question is, when does childhood end? But if it makes one feel better to have a comforting blanket of myth over their supposed or real fear, it's all right. But it probably shouldn't be an obsession.

God forgives us, no matter what. We are His children and He loves us and wants to protect us throughout our lives. We must love Him and have faith in Him.
