There are moments...in time

when God takes my hand...sublime

Speaking tenderly, "But for a while...

come go with Me...my child"

I’m glad to turn… stepping from... 

this world's...cataclysmic cauldron

To a place that is just for us…

 high and far...from present rust

 We walk together, He and I...

with me so tired...from earthen stride

Within His gardens…concurrent…

brush of His florals…renew assurance

 I run ahead...to His hills...

where quiet complacency...stills

Lying upon His lush green beds...

my famished soul is richly fed

There beneath His cleansing falls...

mercy and grace wash me...all

I am saturated...I am sate

ergo enlightened…I contemplate

By His winds...anointed and kissed...

 I tarry deliberately in divine bliss

 twirling a dance of praise and love...

relishing... His restoring glove

Then He takes my hand once and again...

though over for now… it will never end

He'll always return, choosing time and space...

bidding me to…our secret place.
