Pains Reflection

With every stroke of a key

Constant pain grips me.

Fingers swollen and stiff

Believe me, it’s not a gift.

Pain deep within my bones

I know that I’m not alone.

Others are suffering just as I

Pains reflection in our eyes.

Still young, doctors can see.

Yet, crippled by a bone disease.

Doctors try that’s for sure

Pain pills their only cure.

Daily pain has taken its toll

Many, I want to put on hold.

Hope and pray and don’t give in

My motto - “I will win.”
