Dawn gently breaks and welcomed the chilly morning breeze
A bundle of delight settled in her crib, everyone was so pleased
Ringlets of soft baby hair sticks on the sides of her tiny crown
She has her daddy’s eyes, when gaze into them you’ll get drown.
I proudly held you in my arms with care and elation in my heart
With your innocent chuckles I positively portray as dramatic art
Time flies so quickly and incredulously you are now twenty two
You’ve grown to a stunning woman, lustrous like a Japanese yew.
Born a leader, friends and acquaintance gravitate to you naturally
Steadfast as you are to them, they looked for guidance and security
Sweet as candy you generally lead them with your pioneering drive
With your ball of vibrant energy, everything you touch comes alive.
There’s nothing I would aspire in this world but giving you the best
But you must run the race accordant to what your destiny suggest
You have a million of miles to stride on and worlds to triumph over
Cautiously reach for your pending dreams akin to a budding clover.
I stand humbled, reverent by His handiwork to what you turned into
Redness of mars in you and whiteness of moon unite no longer askew
Life adventures awaits, with your fiery vigor there is more to comply
Go fourth with my blessings, stretch your developed wings and fly.
Blessings,
Christine
