Praise the Lord for Christian Mothers!
God has trusted to their care
Little children, precious children,
For His kingdom to prepare.
Sometimes sweet and sometimes frightening
Is this awesome task they bear,
But, praise God, He is beside them
And He hears each mother's prayer.

Gracious Father, Lord of heaven,
Thank You for each precious life!
Each a challenge, each a privilege;
Help me show them love, not strife.
Help me stern be when it's needed,
Tell me when to speak so mild.
Make me worthy, dearest Father,
To be mother of a child.

Gift of God, bestowed upon her ~
Mighty challenge from her Lord.
They are His, but graciously He
Bids her train them through His Word.
Bring them up to love and serve Him,
Tell them of His home above.
Gently lead them to the Saviour ~
Love them with His boundless love!

My Father is glorified by this:
that you produce much fruit
and prove to be My disciples.
