Ever Since The Day (That I Lost You) Everything around me's turning black ever since I had my heart attack. Everything inside of me has died but no one sees the tears that I have cried. No, no one knows just why I've been so blue ever since the day that I lost you. Yeah, ever since the day that I lost you my world is turning black and I'm so blue. There's really nothing left for me to do ever since the day that I lost you. Folks assume our marriage is the best. So many years, it's surely passed the test. They'd never guess you'd found another man. That's something that they'd never understand. They don't know the pain you've put me through ever since the day that I lost you. Yeah, ever since the day that I lost you my world is turning black and I'm so blue. There's really nothing left for me to do ever since the day that I lost you. The prospects of my life are looking grim but you're okay as long as you're with him. It seems you're always gone or on the phone while me, I sit here crying all alone. But you don't see. You haven't got a clue. Ever since the day that I lost you. Yeah, ever since the day that I lost you my world is turning black and I'm so blue. There's really nothing left for me to do ever since the day that I lost you. The ceiling's closing in around my head since you and all my friends left me for dead. But I just lie here quiet as a mouse. I've become a ghost in my own house. There's nothing in this world for me to do ever since the day that I lost you.
