just a thought for today

Poem Artwork

Never comes a time , free as we can be, never comes sorrow breaking against  the fence post lost, just an hour and beyond lovers lost hope spell bound in everything that meant nothing at all.
Magic dances and fools the queen, she pulls back her gown and falls upon her knees, he stairs and rushes free, never comes a time, free as we can be.
And the swallow flies below the window seal and no one sees the beauty just outside only their foolish pride, never comes a time, free as we can be.
And at the end of the day we sleep away all those things that never made since –we are if nothing constant in the wind, never comes a time, free as we can be.
The willow blows, silly purring cat if only you knew, magic dances and fools the queen, she pulls back her gown and falls upon her knees, free as we can be.
Never comes a time were love is true it is only a tool to fool you, free as we can be. And the queen pulls back her gown, and you this time fall upon your knees, never comes a time, free as we can be.

A stunning poem, thought provoking and with such incredible images. I think the repetition adds to the dramatic effect.

it is so true "Never comes a time" Eugene
this is a wonderful expression of inner most desires
and wishes in waiting as is the veiling stairways to climb
and your in closing verse reminds us too it is all
a two-way rail in the freedoms bringing us to reality's knee
Wonderful Metaphor's and Visuals

Tomorrow Never Comes & always remains a day away

Gene, it is so good to read your amazing poetry once again..This one is filled with repetition, that drives your meaning home. Only a fool would not fall upon his knees at the sight of such a beauty.

Lovely poetry, sure hope you are doing much better...I will continue to send you healing energy, my friend..Missed you much

Peace, love and light,
Amber V
