Nonsense for children to enjoy

When the Chickadee has the last laugh... I have to share the feeder here set in the ground by Johnny dear Jays and squirrels come and fight Peck and scratch with all their might each one wants all of the seed forgetting Johnny met the need The feeder holds enough for all including that woodpecker tall I don't go near until their done I wait to see which creatures won Then down I fly from my tree And chirpy chirp until they flee It seems that size don't count for much Yes nagging always gets me lunch........see

The tiny chick-a-dee visits my feeder all the time. When there is too much snow, I put seed on the windowsill. Chick-a-dee will come still, even when I stand near to the glass.
Nice uplifting poem.

You know them well, a cute little ditty for a chicki, I go out every day or two, into the park and feed them by hand, I have made many friends of them, and yes they are brave, If I don't stop, they'll land on my hat and look down to my face to see if I am in there.
