As my eyes gazed upon the great eagle,
circling the sky above me...
I noticed two seagulls, perhaps
hoping that they too possessed
the grandeur of such magnificence.
And in the air about this great bird,
power spread its word to the four
corners of God's great sky -
"I fly, I soar...dreams become
dreams nevermore; and the
light sets into the heart of this flight.
For I see, even at night, the
silver hue of His great sky around
me as I circle; each circle taking
me closer to the celebrated light
of spirit's heaven...bound as I am
to the resplendence and the glory
of God's great and beautiful gifts.
And the rifts of man's calamity
touch not the boundaries of this
sky - for I, the eagle...
above all fly free; you can see me
should you choose to look inward."
For a piece of the spirit of this
great and magnificent bird, descends
and rests within the souls of God's children
who have come to know weariness
along their way; to lift us up to the light of day
and the golden ray of the eagle...
And the path, ever upward, he has
chosen to carve ahead for
those who wish to follow and
bring their dreams to that place
where the eagle flies...
You know, upon that shore;
where dreams become dreams nevermore.
