It's the leprechaun you see that makes

I love to read, almost any book will do,
And I've written more than a poem or two.
My heart is soft and empathic inside,
But I'll roar like a lion should you step on my pride.
I love the little child in me,
She likes to play and makes me feel free.
I love to speak to God and say,
"Please guide this spirit through every day."
I have my strengths, and my weaknesses too,
For I am human, no different than you.
I love to hear music and watch the rain falling,
Deep inside there's a rock star,
who missed out on her calling.
I don't like mean people, mean chatter or gossip,
I'd rather be putting moonbeams in my pocket.
