So sweet and yes there is somthing special about girls with freckles that makes men want to just gather them in and smother them in hugs and kisses. Well done tribute to mother natures beauty marks.

As a kid I once tried to scrub them off with a stiff scrubbing brush. I also thought that eating vegetable soup gave you freckles so I avoided the stuff like the plague. Anyway, keeping with the theme of your poem, I finally signed a peace deal with my freckles - can you imagine how long that took with each freckle having to sign the concordat - and I also bowed the knee in surrender to vegetable soup - tasty actually!
