This is one of my father's paintings. He called it "Blue Boy". The Meduim he used was oil and a palette knife. Happy Memories for you, Dad, on Father's Day.
Love,
Susan
My Dad was an artist and the pictures that he drew
Made us all very proud of him
His talent...wisdom too
Some say he was a Shaman
In some life long ago
He taught his eight of nature
Our Earth...above...below
He said that we should put back
From nature what we took
Make this world much better
I could write a book
On Dad's philosophy
His natural way with people
The way he had with creatures
His strong Tuetonic features
We all learned of bravery
We never knew his anger
He was a proud Texan
He never met a stranger
Dad is gone and in his place
Eight smiles of talent plenty
To carry on in his good way
Then bow out very gently.
Susan I know you miss him terribly. He sounds like such a wonderful man and obviously a gifted artist who passed his gift on to you. Beautiful tribute to your father.
A beautiful tribute to a great man who in his insight undoubtedly taught you things of great wisdom. His wonderful philosophy, talent, and wisdom lives on in you. Love, Pierre.
Excellent tribute Belle, and very emotionally descriptive art. The melody you have captured so adeptly on the heart strings is satisfying and honorable. He would be blessed. Welcome back!

We're learning more and more about a special lady down in the Tampa area these days. Have missed your regular and often postings, but am pleased with one of such tender and sincere quality. A wonderful and lasting tribute to an "Octoganol Father". I don't know the other seven, but you're a handful, girl, and we'll keep you... right here in our hearts. Thank you for an outstanding tribute to yours and all Dads. - Bill
A wicked Cajun Fairy named Robes Pierre entered the impenetrable Magical doll land of Sha Bebe. Queen Faustina, the ruler of the doll land, thought she had destroyed him, but he's back! Will the doll land survive his evil ways?
Let this coming of age story of a boy named Bean take you back to a simple time. Set in a small southern town in the 1960's, encircled by a river and gleaming white cotton fields.
Welcome home. You've been missed. Beautiful painting, beautiful tribute, all around excellence! Well done.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
Thanks,
