All in fun with Michael . He is a wonderous little Einstein with a sweet demeanor for 2 years old and a heartbreaker too.
"I didn't do it, I promise
It broke all by itself
I was no where near it
It was high up on that shelf
Yep! That's my step stool yonder
I didn't put it there
I'm sure that there's another kid
In this house somewhere
G.G. I'm a good boy
I can promise you that
That broken bird flew by itself
Believe me! That's a fact!
You see that scratch on my pinkie
The other kid did it too
The bird just fell and in it's fall
It cut me and that's true !
The other kid's a goner
He ran out the back way
I'll bet he'll never come back here
Especially today
I'm sorry for the glass bird
I'll buy another for you
I need a hug right now G.G.
Upon my new boo-boo!"

That is so adorable LOL,
I have a few of those too, 2,3,and 4 yr old who all love to say "I didn't do IT" They are my gifts from above.
I do so Love this poem :)
I quiet agree... It's very cute now, but think of later! There are soooo many men with the "I didn't do that" "It happened by itself" "Maybe you did it" "Or you made me do this"... dangerous.
Well, with good, loving education, things change for the best and now is certainly an age to enjoy.
Awwwwww, this one is cute!! Precocious, little ones are...reminds me of some of my stories I used to tell! Enjoyed this one, (((HUGS))) and love to Michael, and to you. :)
A wicked Cajun Fairy named Robes Pierre entered the impenetrable Magical doll land of Sha Bebe. Queen Faustina, the ruler of the doll land, thought she had destroyed him, but he's back! Will the doll land survive his evil ways?
Let this coming of age story of a boy named Bean take you back to a simple time. Set in a small southern town in the 1960's, encircled by a river and gleaming white cotton fields.
