Today I messed up,
but tomorrow will be dressed up,
mostly because I confessed up.
No high head in the sky,
just another man trying to positively defy.
So what of a blunder,
not going to hit me like thunder.

I have a vision of joy,
that no one blunder can destroy.
Even a whole group,
will not keep me in the coop.
Mess ups are for sure,
moving on positively is the cure.

Who am I kidding,
the devil did his bidding.
Messing up hurt like hell,
I was headed down with flame on tail.
The closer I got to the ground,
the harder I fought to stay abound.

I've crashed before,
so now I surely know the score.
The ground hit me right in the face,
I'm still wearing a trace.
Walking around still hurt,
but refusing to turn to dirt.

Here I stand with the good and the bad,
knowing surely not to drop down sad.
No use being down,
while your heart and soul drown.
The devil can't win,
in the -hit I still grin.
