If you're not God, don't try to respond to this poem. Just a poem anyway, don't take too serious.
Why did you desert me, so the devil could hurt me? Why is life so mean and evil, and we see more of the devil? Why do we have mosquito insects, and mean birth defects?
Can we make it out of the womb, before we're headed back to the tomb? Seems like we're in a board game, make the wrong plays, in comes the flame. Too long at the table we sat, then we get all fat. Eat too much of anything, we end up paying everything.
Catch 22 and Murphy seem to prevail, seems like we're doomed to fail. Life sure is very interesting, along with being terribly detesting. It certainly can be a great joy, until the devil comes to destroy.
No, I'm not God, but I have felt this way sometimes. This is kind of humorous, as well as being true (how we feel). We can work for the eventual defeat of Murphy and Catch 22.

I am NOT God, but I just wanted to let you know I liked this poem. But I do know why people are so nasty nowadays: prayer and God were removed; that is why the world is so bad! We need to get back to God..and the sooner, the better! Wise write, Grady!
