We think we're at the top of the food chain. The bugs might not agree.

Every dust mite, and bug not visible to sight. What we don't see, is eating on you and me. While we're out too lunch, the bugs are out too munch. We say our grace, they feed their face. We lay down too sleep, the bugs continue too creep. In the bed, on the floor, sometimes they make us sore. While we're healing, they continue stealing. We get no break, we're always their cake. Many wash down the drain, still they are a pain. G

G! I hate bugs, yet they say when everything else is gone there will still be the pests. I never could understand why! Have talked to the Lord many times about it;-)I thank God I don't have a problem where I live. The minute I'm outside it's another story and now summer will bring them out in droves. yuk Loved your humorous poem, even though I hate the subject;-)

Bugs are far from my favorite thing, Grady, and I am itching just reading your poem. I live in the desert, but 2 blocks from the river, which is the only water source, so I share my neighborhood with all the bugs. Thankfully they seem to find enough food elsewhere for most of them to avoid my living space...but Ewwwwwww to those cottonwood borers and cicaidas! It is all giving me the willys just thinking about it.
