Knock, knock, knocking on heavens doors.

Poem Artwork

I try to hand this life roses,
all I get back is nothings and supposes.
One door opens,
the other closes.
Fix one thing,
the other breaks,
mostly life just takes.

The more love you give out,
the more hate returns route.
Love makes you feel like a fool,
especially when others use it like a tool.
You love,
they shove.
Try to test your conviction,
measure the length of your restriction.

Walking through loves door,
still is the best way to make score.
Loves pain,
isn't as bad as hates stain.
I can't walk back through,
for me love is more true .

Hate and stupidity kept me uptight,
everday seem to bring on a fight.
Days just aren't the same,
love truly does help tame.
For me loves door stays open,
it's just easier coping.

G

That's the example Christ set for us. When you're treated awfully, all you have to do is remember what He went through to save us. Pain from love is a blessing. Pain from hating is a curse.

Love and prayers,
Patty

A lot to think about in this one, Grady. I believe things even out, but have to remind myself often that although I'll receive what I give, I won't usually receive from the same people that I have given to. I think people are generally givers or takers, and very do both well.
