Almost everyone wants to talk, no one wants to listen. I'm a listener and talker. I try to keep a balance. And if I'm wrong, I surely don't mind taking good advice.

Some humanoids hate
to be told what too do,
Try to tell them,
a fight might just ensue.
A poet can't even write a poem
which sounds like advice,
some readers will try
to put him on ice.

Some people say,

"What makes you think you're so right,
then try to start a 15 round fight."

What makes this so bad,
they might be the ones wrong.
In my family on both sides,
this is the attitude that confides.
Many of the young ones don't want
to listen to the adults,
many times I had to put up with
disrespectful insults.

My mother was one of the worse,
she had a hard head curse.

I'd say,

"mom make him get out and work
and quit laying around."

She couldn't afford her habit
and eventually lost her home.
After she lost her home,
all the no goods found jobs,
finally got help with
their drug problems.

Now at age eighty two,
she has no home to go to.
Her house should have been
paid off thirty years ago,
up until she lost it
she owed eighty thousand plus,
I was so angry I wanted to cuss,
and for many years I did fuss.

Finally I gave up and
took care of my own yard,
man was my moms head hard.
I'm not clapping,
the worse finally did happen.
I was a responsible son that tried,
instead of appreciation
I got french fried.
