I don't find it surprising,
that there's a love uprising.
Love is God's best,
once discovered
no human will ever rest.
Oh you might lay down to sleep,
but when you awake,
love you will certainly seek.

We can't bury love,
even as the devil shove.
One person might go down,
but
another will wear the crown.
If we're wise at heart,
we'll never let love depart.

We might get hurt,
and at times hate will flirt,
but love will never leave,
hate will only cover and decieve.
I'm in love with love,
and for this,
I thank the Lord above.
