The grown azz man I am views this world as one messed up place, where it's hard to keep a smile on a face. The little kid in me sees it as a playground, he's going have some fun and play around. At times there is a conflict, the man in me tries to restrict. The little boy screams get out of my darn way, or I'll run my azz away.
By the time the man catches the little red truck, the kids done spent every buck. The grown azz man just keeps his mouth zipped, because he knows the little kid has flipped. The little kid takes advantage of every opportunity, because he knows he has immunity.
The kid hates the grown mans view, and he knows exactly what to do. He'll go pull out the toys, then all the negativity he destroys. Many times the man just gives in, because the kid helps keep his joy within.
A great write shows how we all struggle within ourselves from time to time. Great write, we all need to dig down occasionally and find the kid in ourselves! Enjoyed!
