proud loud and strong

Lie on the floor and prepare
for the thundering feet
It will be mostly meaness and
hate that you meet
It will make you want to
drop the torch
maybe throw it somewhere
it will better scorch
But you hold on for dear life
even after the misery and strife
Love remains your goal
it burns deep down in the soul
Not to be seperated
not even negotiated
I agree with those who commented before me: powerful is the word that comes to mind here..you've become strong, self-assured, and so beautiful in your poetic expressions, my dear GEM. It has been an inspiration and a joy to watch you develop...and I may say so, I know.
