A spinoff from Kung Fu verse. Grasshopper writes his first poem in which he ponders the masters powers compared to his. I use to love watching the tv series of Kung Fu. Kung fu is a form of martial arts combining karate, judo and other forms to create a stronger fighting art. Thus Kung Fu verse is the same type creativity of combining word and other form to express.
I can not catch the fly
I have not learned enough
this is why
The master teaches me
his wisdom of way
I will get wiser one day
and make the fly pay
If I do not get wiser in the head
the fly will always catch me instead
He will not catch the master
until he's dead
If the fly wants to stay alive
he should avoid the master to survive
The master can not see
but he is faster than me
Life is full of confusion
even catching the fly could be
an illusion
The master is faster than the fly
and I can not figure why
The day I figure why
I too may be able to catch the fly
