The chips will fall, either God, the devil or nothing will come to call.

Poem Artwork

I'm not versing about
potato chips
that go with delicious dips
This has something to do with
good and bad trips
either accidental or
fate intended slips

Some say
let the chips fall where they may
I can't trip on this say
Most of my chips fell when
I was a kid
basically I should be
messed up or dead
In other words I had no control
life has taken its toll
I had to fight hard to save my soul

Finally got all my ducks in a row
As a grown man I act like I know
Bad chips that fell
almost sent me to hell
outnumbered the good chips as well
Recouping has a high cost
but it's much worse to take a total loss

It took me around fifty years to finally figure out a few basic things about how to live my life. Here it is another twenty years after that and I still have my "living" problems. Some of us are just naturally slow learners.

Stuff You Can Say Everyday by D. Mullis

My son wrote a book of his personal, one liner quotes. Never underestimate the power of simple statements! A very interesting read!
