Bored nothing to do
kind of frustrated too
Write a poem
but leave out your inner storm
Don't dare write your dark
leave Wolf man and Dracula
in the park
Hey wait a minute
versing is about expressing
maybe relieving a little stressing
I'm warning you black man
I'm warning you white man
and you Indians and Muslims zapping
stay away from what happened
between you and the opposite race Enough is going on in peoples lives because of the color of the face
in our crazy living space
Be kind to your fellow man
write something nice if you can
Verse about a world Utopia rising
no one will never know you're disguising
At the end of the day coming
your reviews might not be numbing
that is if you get a review
same old same old nothing else is new
except the poem written by you
I write poetry only when and what my inner thoughts dictate. I can never write poetry just because I say to myself, Hmmm, Mark, let's write a poem. When I do write poetry it is because I feel passion over something, and, O.P.G., this I know is true of you also. So write as you feel, my friend. Just remember, though, when hatred bubbles through, your readers feel it which may be a good thing, or a bad thing.

This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses
the dominant thoughts occupying my mind during the early morning hours of a given
day.

God bless,
