Life is a chance we take
regardless of whether we're
a birth mistake
Dad forsaked his kids
never helped hold up his childrens heads
For years my face was facing the ground
because dad never was around
He was nowhere to be found

But I had no choice with my chances
some of them were worst than
dads failed romances
I almost ended up dead
dealing with all the confused junk
in my head
turned myself around instead

Life has no guarantee
nothing in this world comes free
mostly everything has a fee
even when it drives you up a tree
What goes up must come down
a smile might cost more than a frown
but not if you're the clown
The clown might get paid
so you might want to trade
