The word on the street
may ring out silence
one things for sure it
includes violence
The word on the street
also could be honey sweet
depending on where we
go to meet
and who we greet
Surely if we don't be careful
it could equal self-defeat

The holy man preaches
his sermon
outside the holy house
roams the vermin
The vermin live by an evil code
the law enforcers try to erode
Across the world the terroist
move to explode
There isn't a horse that
can't be rode
or a man that can't be throwed
The lawn will surely get mowed
So no ones really safe in resident
not even the American president

We can't really hear the word
but it better be heard
Then registered in the brain
cause this world is part insane
Many of us live in vain
knowing it could fall acid rain
Everyone enjoys the roses
and tries to ignore the
dumb stupid proposes
Life at times becomes a test
We all wish for the best
Some of us even pray
knowing deep down inside we
may not survive another day
