For what it's worth
we were created from the
sod of the earth
and we shall die and return
when our days have ended
By this time we should be
environmentally blended
unless our lives tragically ended

To the individual life is worth everything
even if you're not a queen or king
however to others your life
becomes kind of fickle
not much worth than a plug nickle
Some love to see the blood trickle
and they will kill
sometimes for the thrill
To survive sometimes it may take
a stronger will

Down on earth life can be good
and it can be bad
Many have a problem with
staying happy and not sad
Mostly all men have been had
many walk around mad
Others remain soundly glad
for everything good in life
knowing there's a thin line
between misery and strife
