What do we have to be glad about
Some people got to have everything
going good before they can be happy
I'm glad I can handle my somewhat
screwed up life where most of the
time things are going wrong
After all it's easy to smile when
everything is going good
Can you smile in the mist of adversity
My happiness doesn't come from
everything going good
with a big smile on my face
As some say
with all the ducks in a row

My Happiness comes form being
able to handle the crazy life I have
in a positive way
I smile because I have sense enough
to stay out of jail
I'm a serious person screwing around
in this crazy writing world
I try to say positive things but
most of the time I flunk out

If you noticed nothing here rhymes
For me rhyming is a word game
I'm not playing no darn games now
This is some serious words
Why I wrote something like this
Maybe because I'm still trying to be
a happy man
which seems to be a far reaching goal
However I am glad about quite a
few things
There is no man from glad
Only a man trying to visit glad
to continue staying away from
mean misery and sad
