They say love is a gift
from God above
however like the rose with thorns
there's a lot of push and shove
They say God is a loving God
and that he created us from sod
I figure dirt has never been
put together so good
to fall apart in an evil mood
It's best to avoid
the evil mean old humanoid
cause he will make you paranoid

They say the world will eventually end
however untill then life offers
a somewhat mixed up dividend
Of course they don't have to say
gold will spend
but just like love it is hard to find
then it screws with your mind
trying to love someone unkind

Of course they say a lot of things
even queens and kings
They say it's not over until
the fat lady sings
No one has to say that a bee stings
or that a bird has wings
Sometimes it's just not good to
listen to what they say
cause some of the garbage can
mess up a good day
