She is darkness. A soul reaching for light. Her mind to tired to pray.. To scared to say She is afraid of the dark. She doesn't need much.. Just a pinhole of a spark. A distant star in the galaxy... Just enough light to keep the demons away They lurk in the darkest shadows.. Waiting.. To take her back. Back to the hell from whence she came. She was not meant to be born. So they wait in prey.. Waiting for the stars to fade.. These demons are apart of her.. She apart of them. They are siblings within her.... Filling her with.. Emptiness.. Darkness.. Emotionalism Nothingness They do not know of.. Love Life Hurt Shame They know nothing of these earthy gains.. For there is heavenly light even in pain. Every emotion sparks something unseen.. Ahh, but these demons will not let her be.. The star is fading.. The darkness comes.. She knows she is not alone.. She feels their demonic urgency growing inside of her. As they wait To take her home. She knows it is useless To fight. Because darkness will always overcome the light.

Erica this is an excellent walk on the dark side of poetry!
You know you have to fight harder. Talking about it won't help. I hope this is only fictional that you are talking about. If there is really such a person, I'm sure all this talking won't do that person good. We have to show some compassion toward each other. I would, as Allen say so, light a candle for this person.
Hope you are feeling better about yourself and about this person within yourself.

This is a very frightful write Erica, but if one were to light one tiny candle, even in the blackest of night, the light from this one tiny candle will expel the darkness. I shall hope for that candle.
