a try at a diff style...

I strung a string of love.. Between the earth and the rain.. Right through the wildest storms.. Not wanting to be tamed.. Right through your shivering heart.. I sang to you a pleading tune.. To open up your heart to me.. To let me mend your wounds. But when the night came sealed and dark.. I was still alone.. My heart is now an island .. That yearns through lonely nights.. I try to love you through this hell .. Like roses hold the wind in pain To let go their withered leaves. To let go their breath so hopelessly strained I try to hold you close.. As careful as a drop of dew.. For if I lose this fragile drop.. I will know I'm losing you.
