Diff Style....

Silently I recall back when.. My spirits soared wild and free.. Light in my eyes Wings at my back.. Brilliant skies beckoned me.. The day was sweet. As the breeze was sweet.. A joyful song I sing... The air was clear.. The world was free.. Cheerily I spread my wings.. The night is suddenly silent The wind has stopped As if lost in time.... My lips begin to quiver.. As I see.. The stars have lost their shine I am silent.. Not a sound to spare.. The moon is silent My heart is silent.. In my eyes tears well there. So silently these tears have gathered.. So silently.. I cry.. Weighted down by this leaden sorrow.. I can no longer fly.

This is such an extremely heavy write, for I could feel the soaring as well as the crash. Excellently done.
