My Wisconsin Mountain in the fall....

It must be nice high up on your mountain.. Untouched by society.. You get to be the watcher.. Detached from reality You see our loss.. Yet you do not have to live it.. You get to be with God.. To be one with the mountain.. With the skies The trees.. To know life is nature.. Life is all that we see.. The birds that fly above you The paths that lead to streams.. This is the gift God gave us all.. If we could only Let it be.. To watch the suns filter.. streaks of brilliant light Bathe me.. I smell the scent of autumn.. I am filled with childhood memories.. Of playful times on falls golden bed.. Of dreams under maple leaves.. How I wish I could stay on your mountain.. Away from all that troubles me.. I could let my mind endlessly wander.. Through natures reality.

Haha, I'm laughing at E's reply, Erica!! No, no mountains, plenty of hills and dales and forests and lakes and, an, oh, so tiny mountain, or a really big hill, at, what, 800 ft., Rib Mountain, near Wausau, was the only "mountain" I ever knew, until I was 18 and drove from WI to Seattle,Washington ...now, those are MOUNTAINS!! Glacier National Park in Montana is gorgeous, and scary!! The stunning heights...are perilous and thrilling! I enjoyed your piece, Erica, and I believe it was fall when I finally scaled Rib Mountain, in my late teens, Wisconsin in the fall is beautiful!! I miss that, here... And I also see the irony of this piece, of course there are no real mountains there, but, there are mountains, and there are mountains.

Make it your favorite place of relaxation and you can go anytime you wish.
I've been to Wisconsin...I thought it was pretty flat...does it have mountains?
