Distorted perceptions
of who I am..
My mind always changing..
This way..
No that way..
Maybe no way
Is the best way..
What do you want?
I don’t know..
What is love..
I am not sure..
Who loves you..
No one
I think..
But I don’t know
the meaning..
How am I to say?
My distorted perceptions..
I think I am moving up..
Getting over..
Trying hard..
To find I am falling down..
Going fast..
Nothing lasts
Hit by the reality
Of the delusion
I created..
With my
distorted perceptions..
Of this life..
I am debating..
Can’t believe
my own eyes.
Cannot trust
my own heart
So confused..
Torn apart.
It is death..
I have courted..
Wondering why..
Hope was aborted..
Spontaneously it seems.
I am coming apart
at the seams..
I am enclosed
in the dark
Yet I feel the
warmth of light..
How am I to know..
To sit
To fight..
Am I to guess..
What’s wrong..
What’s right..
Distorted perceptions..
Makes me wonder..
Keeps me guessing..
As I figure out
the truth..
In this life filled
With misconceptions.
Of these
My distorted perceptions.
I love the question then answer principle .
So many questions -not enough answers .

Erica, wonderful write. I hate it when all these questions come popping up at once. The confusion is hell raising. We must first find out who we are. Then we will know what our purpose is.
