~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When nights are long..
When sleep will
not release me..
My body weary
My mind dead..
My soul spent..
From memories  ..
That want to spread..
My heart weeps
Flooding my bed..
With tears of hot
crimson red..
Finally I float on this
sea of tears..
My mind falls into
dreams of the past..
I dream of you..
I reach for you
through the darkness
To feel your comfort..
To find the truth..
Searching for the
slightest feel of you..
Praying..
You will see me..
Willing myself to
stay in this dream.
Because it is the only place
I have the slightest chance..
That perhaps you will find me..
Tell me all is forgiven..
Let me feel your soul..
Feel anything..
To release this hunger ..
That cannot be filled..
There is no food to fill this
emptiness
I have inside..
No water..
To quench this thirst
of mine..
So I drown..
Choking on guilt as
dry as desert sand..
Hoping to find you
in my dreams..
To finally make amends.
But it never happens..
Because you are not with me..
I try to sense you
in my house..
Talking to you..
Hoping for a sign..
Just a little something..
To tell me you are near..
But I feel nothing ..
Not a shimmer of you..
I know
You do not care
So I cry from
my heart..
Looking for you
In the coldest dark..
Because I NEED to tell you..
I love you..
I just don't know how.
You were not with me in life..
You are not with me now..
Am I to wait for my death?
To see you again..
And when I do walk up to you
On that my Judgment Day..
Will you even then
turn your back on me
walk away?
Tell me..
I am trying to
make things right..
Help me..
Please help me..
Find you..
Reach you..
Feel you..
Through this endless night.
You write from the soul
And the rest can understand
The way that you feel
My opinion is expressed in haiku form - first line (5 syllables) second line (7 syllables) third line (5 syllables)
..my heart breaks every time I read this Erica..It seems to me sweet friend , that you have made amends..there is NO need to continue the search...if anything, we know that we are all ONE thus the one that we need to commune with is within our own Being..please ,do not underestimate the power of LOVE..it quenches the thirst,the hunger...it eliminates all guilt..please remember that our scenarios are predestined and that what we all need to learn is accomplished even though our ego gives us hell demanding a SENSED forgiveness...forgiveness does NOT need to be felt..it happens because we are loved so much...our dear ones that pass over do not want us to be in pain of any sort..they know that all is LOVE..please allow them to hold you in it.
Thankyou for this most precious work..it goes into my library!
