I can live with ghosts from the past.. Can live with love that doesn't last.. Can live without faith even fate.. I just can't seem to live with guilt and shame.. Can't live with regrets.. When I know I was to blame.. Cannot live with a coward.. I never thought I would be.. When the time came.. I felt.. Outside myself.. I felt alone.. Scared to say Good-bye.. Yes, You hit me blind side.. Then I was dazed and confused.. When the ultimate time comes.. One must take a stand.. Win or lose.. Face it.. or Hide from it.. The choice is yours.. God help the ones who hide.. For what's done is done.. No second try.. I wish I would have known all this.. Before you had to die. But now I sit and wonder.. Dreaming as the last hint of life.. Left your eyes.. But I was not there.. To help you go.. This is my regret.. I will live with.. The rest of my life I know. Some regrets.. You cannot let go.. I am sorry.. Will not be heard.. I hope you know my mind and heart.. Feel such sadness. For what I didn't do.. I should have come running.. To see the last glimmer leave your eyes.. I should have been there.. But I was afraid you would die. Good-bye...

..there's no need to live in regret..you have played your part well....remember we all prepare the scenario before we incarnate..your role was to tne the you that you were/are..NO regrets..please accept that you are Love incarnate..ego plays the games..and that's that!!

This made me cry,it is ssssooooooooo heartfelt deep and very touching,just beautiful poetry.Don't feel bad that you were not there,Your father knows your love and is in a better place he can see your heart and your sadness,there is no need to feel guilt.You will meet again one day,he will meet you on the other side when your time comes,I believe my dad will meet me too,they (deceased loved ones)can feel our love,when we continue to love them so much they never really go far,they watch over us.Your father would not want you to be sad,death is very private,sometimes it is easier for them when they can do it alone,I for one would not want my children to see me die.I want to spare them that.I saw my dad die,I held his hand,I still have nightmares about it.I don't think he realised I was even there.Your poem has touched me deeply.I miss my dad too.
