Blazing into adolescence
The heat has distorted your vision
Causing division, in a unit which is supposed to be sacred.
Since love has been washed away, emotions fall to the borderline of hatred.
The shelter provided and shields raised have failed to protects its subject
The cracks in the wall are wide open windows to curiosity, temptations in the world
Chips in the armor have created vulnerability
Piercing more than the flesh
Tainting the soul with the color of a lifeless illusions
As rose colored lenses are stained with the mixture of blood and tears
And cries that sound off like that of a banshee still fall on deaf ears
As you walk in the bliss of ignorance, high on toxic ways
Look back to see the trail of pain and suffering combined with blood
From the hearts, broken and shattered; encompassed with destroyed hopes.
Now sleep somberly on withered dreams
As you embrace the nightmare we feared.
