Very pretty, this reminds me of finding a lacy old valentine in a trunk in the attic, sitting quietly, alone in my private moment, flooded with memories, thoughts of what "might have been" and celebrating the emotions of youth. How I pulled all of this out of your words is impossible to explain other than to say that poetry is subjective and should/does draw upon the imagination of the reader and of course upon the heart.
