Thru these eyes of hollow depth, you peer the verges of my soul,

Yet dare not seek beyond, to search the heart of karmic goals.

This shell of mortal flesh deceives an energy once know,

Cries of my existence, with breathless sighs, and jaded moans.

For lucid waters I have paddled, through streams of meandering glens,

Voyaged the stormy oceans lost, to meet the lonesome rainbows end.

Desert dunes of ardent slope, I have climbed by naked burning soles,

Scaled the snow-capped mountains, braved the southern wintry poles.

Caverns too, that submerge like snaky havens neath the futile turf,

I have crawled with trepidation, in reverence of your cherished worth.

Perhaps from blinded love, you simply fail to see with ease,

As forests are obscured by chance the myriad of trees.

Maybe then, when you have strayed the beaten shores of time,

An angels wings will carry you, into these faithful arms of mine.
