Andy, this is so peacefully beautiful, and how wonderful that you shared such a moment with Kate! There's something so magical about the sea...it's as though all troubles disappear. Again, beautiful writing.
the sea's timeless motion stirs the soul and invites the imagination to create and the heart to emote -- salt air alive with the magic of blown spray invigorates and urges passion anew -- mystery swims just below the sea's surface, luring us to explore heightened compassionate expressions -- Andy, your rendering captures for the reader the excitement the sea brings to the core of man's senses and values -- a proper seaman's shanty to be sure -- may joy and love follow you this day my friend -- Jon Michael
Beautiful and peacefully retold ~ Wild and gentle both, these are my favorite spots on earth, as well as I like people that way too.
Now, moving on... So KB being the lovely Kate! You are so lucky to go bathing with her! And at this mysterious spot. I can imagine it was relaxing, kind of like Wales is to me in my mind.
Blessings,
Christine
What a truly amazing and special place Lee Abbey is and you have captured its abilities to speak volumes into the heart, mind and soul without uttering a word - by being inscrutable, as you suggest and as the gun-metal grey of the photograph indicates. Love the counterbalance of that final stanza, too: no sea/see-sickness here! :)) June 2006... so long ago, so much water under the... limestone cliffs. Your metaphorical "bathing" I don't recall - only getting very wet feet through my tartan-patterned leaking wellington boots! You articulate the awe, wonder and Aslan-magic well. Thanks for the memory! xx
Perhaps "..Quiet Storm" will help rekindle old flames buried and long forgotten or express the love so deeply locked inside of your soul longing to be released.
Regardless of where you may be found in love this beautiful masterpiece can be

You hear the sounds, upon the shore,
Lulling me, wanting more.
A mind's eye, pictures seen,
Always moving me to dream....
Beautiful Andy...I went to St Kitts last year in April with my best friend and we saw a similar picture to this one from the train in the hills.
