Poem Artwork

In my garden of elegance

The flowers speak with eloquence

Fluent freesias converse with ease

The pond reeds whistle with the breeze

Flowers bloom to this ancient tune

But the bees, yes the bees, spread rumours

And the trees leave leaves spreading them around

The dandelion turns to seed

Floating disdain upon the ground.

Andy, I know this garden and it is a place of beauty and serenity. Even in the dark night of winter I surround myself with its elegance. A beautiful rendering. May peace and love be always with you my friend. Jon Michael

East of Eden you think of dandelions but I think of Natalie Woods.
She's also splendid in the grass...

It's great to see all the garden flora acting verbally. I don't know why the poor dandelion is so maligned. It makes great wine and greens, while some of the most beautiful flowers are deadly poison. And, you didn't give butterflies equal page space with bees. I think they'll sue. ;-)

Andy~
Love the ancient song of garden excellence.
Freesias are my favorite. How sweet
the fragrance. Rumor has it!
