Very painful and sad write. Mogadishu, a very beautiful city, has been destroyed by merciless warlords who care about nothing. I was born, grown and educated in Mogadishu. However, I have not seen my city for 17 years. Tribal leaders and warlords killed the majority of reasonale men and women, displaced many more and the rest are still suffering in their hands.

I feel sad when I look at the whole picture and see what is going on in Somalia. Here in the USA, I am classified as BLACK. Blacks are a minority. there are more black people in the state of Ohio than in Mogadishu. In comparison, the population of Somalia is apprximately 10 Million. All of them are black, 100% Muslim, same language, same lifestyle and same in almost every aspect of life. The only difference? CLAN: I belong to this, you belong to that and we hate each other for the sake of it. Clan is the evil and clannism is the underlying cause of our problems as a nation.
Let us just hope that we will be able to overcome it one good day.

To watch this happen to your beautiful home must be a lot like a man being bound and tied and being forced to watch his wife or daughter being raped...I just cannot imagine...but your graphic certainly brings it all home for each of us. It seems that the world has little use for patriots or for peaceful existence anymore. It is all about a one-world government and one World Bank and anyone who is not inline with that thinking must be destroyed. The radicals and terrorists are doing the work for the Western Bloc (UN). They will tear it all apart, breakdown all the governments, leave the people starving and with little vision of hope, then the west (we) will remanufacture the governments, towns, cities and countries to what meets our financial and political goals. I would love to tell you that those of us who have a more sane approach to the evolving of the world and her societies have a loud voice, but alas, it seems that, at least at this time, we do not. Though I accept responsibility for what goes on in this world and for the part my Country plays in that, please do not misinterpret that as always agreeing with the tactics or actions employed. Your feelings and frustrations are well expressed in these lines of this excellent poem:
"Gang-raped by Lords of War
And trampled upon by gunmen"

I pray for continued safety for you and your family and pray for peace to come swiftly for Somalia.
