No one has a right to pound rockets on a residential area, though in the city Mogadishu, Somalia's capital, there is a ball of fire being launched by two antagonistic groups: The Government and the insurgents who do not pay or show any respect to the innocent people, some of whom old and handicapped. They kill thousands and maiming many more thousands while forcing people to flee their houses. There are also some animals like goats or pets such as cats or strayed dogs that have nowhere to go to find sanctuary. And there is nobody bothering to build temporary shelters for them. Sad indeed.

You call yourself a government
Yet you shell indiscriminately
Your rockets might hit a child
Or drive people in the forests
If they escape your hot bullet
They won't miss the pain of shock

You call yourself an insurgent
Yet you pound us with rockets
You attack us with heavy mortar
Your artillery kills everybody
Or flush people out from houses
Are you not a human being?

In the city there are those
Who cannot run away from war
Who are old or too frail to move
There are handicapped children
Who know nowhere beyond their shack
Can they bear with these attacks?
