I´m just trying to figure out the mind of a terrorist who blew up himself in a graduation ceremony of medical students in Mogadishu resulting the death of 22 persons.

He was wearing a veil to deceive the security guards at the gate who might have checked him if he wore his normal attire. Then after coming in he proceeded to the toilet to change and then entered the conference hall. Then he took a seat in the front row, close to his victims (government minsters, one of them a lady) whom he knew would soon be dead. But he did not kill them soon because he wanted the room to be fully packed and no seat remained unfilled. He examined the room with glaring eyes, looking everywhere but seeing nothing more than his belt strapped around his waist which was stuffed with deadly explosives.

While people were focusing on the proceedings of the event his mind was busy completing the final touches of his plot by calculating the best way he could kill the highest number in the hall in order to inflict an unbearable misery in the hearts of the students and their parents. He smiled as he sketched out how the place would look like when he went off like an anti-tank mine. He enjoyed the scenery even before he had staged the drama.

He thought he had waited quite long to take this assignment as a suicide bomber. His wish was to die much earlier than now in other suicide bombing missions.

This is the portrait of terrorist´s mind which unfortunately shows how hard it is to deal with someone who puts more emphasis on death than on life and welcomes the day of his explosion much the same way people celebrate their birthdays.
