you try so hard to break us up
spinning your illusions into so-called truths
of which to impress the delusional
always desperate to possess that
which does not belong to you,
but which you demand.
in life, there are things
that are wild and free,
that exist beyond your reach.
only you haven’t a clue
as to their propriety.
only seeing your lonely point of view
on a kaleidoscope of dreams
without a breath of reality.
so if, at this moment
your sun rises and says hello,
while mine, says good-night.
then it is because time, is, as it is.
out of reach, out of bounds,
until tomorrow.

Sara, whoever puts them self in the middle where they do not belong must go for the sake of sanity. Worrisome behavior? Or meddling or worse? Hope you have this under control. Bill Murray
Good write Sara...but if the things or person you love die in a car crash...there are only memories to hang onto...not so easy to posses I guess..My poem "The Four Seasons Child" is about that person who died on May 14...hope you are okay!! Not sure when the sun will ever shine bright enough to make this pain fade away!!
I think alcohol was the killer of my friend too....he did drink alot from what I could see the Friday night before my brothers sons wedding two weeks ago....we made music and had so much fun but Piet did drink alot.....but not sure whether that was a habbit or not..i was singing and he was paying the ghitaar and I had a plastic bucket playing drums on that......just having some pre wedding silly fun..then my i would play ghitaar and him the "Drums"..just singing some real silly stuff...making the rest of the growd laugh.
Then Saturday my brother phoned to tell me he died.....Jasus I was so shocked......but are okay now!!
