Sitting down to digital pen and page I try to think about the things that overwhelm me Right at the top of the list in big bold letters it says –WORK– Just underneath in bolder brighter letters still I refine that one word concept a little more succinctly as if that were possible into –OBLIGATIONS– And there lies the bane of my existence The little engine that demands it can until it gets so overwhelmed that it sputters out black smoke signals of sorrow at all the things I have to miss because of the billions of events that are my duty to perform.

Usually by the time I finish the first six months of the year all I can dream of is staying home. Plus whenever I take a vacation it makes me feel guilty. I travel so much on business that I just don't have the heart to leave my secretaries alone for a vacation.

Th9inks. Soon, the problem throws up its hands and give up. Of course, I'm one problem that won't go away. LOL

Just as life during the pandemic was color-coded with different hues representing different levels of danger, life in its aftermath has become shaded in similar ways. As a self-styled “Seeker of Beauty with Beauty,” (borrowing from a quote by W.E.B.
