sometimes I like to think about… a walk on the beach a swim in the sea a trek through the snow a hike up a mountain a trail in the forest a kiss on the throat a world filled with love and strawberry shortcakes and then reality sets in problems demand attention decisions takes measure orders are given work keeps piling up so you delegate responsibility aggravate those who don’t work tolerate mistakes push an agenda shove like a bully and engulf the competition it’s just a day in a week of a life where all thoughts end at the corner of living and being alive
We write to escape, even though we know that reality stands in wait of when we are done.
Sometimes though, it shoves and I shove back. That's when I get to smile. Knowing that I really do have the power to lock the door.
Stunning write Sara...now..lock the door and smile!

A lot of great imagary. Starts of bright and breezy, then heads down gloomy pit..
Clever thinking..
Will there ever be time to be what we really want to be..and to do what we yearn for...I guess not....life is a railroad...filled with too much shit!!

Sara, it’s no wonder why one yearns for the simple days of ones youth. However, it also reminds me of what my late grandfather would always tell me, “if you want something done right, you must do it yourself.” In this day in age where we tend to push through hell and high water to get it done, we often cannot take the time we need to sit back and just relax. I enjoyed the read. Thanks for sharing it. Take good care and be well.
Five years have passed. The sequel to the award-winning Chapel of Eternal Love, this book revisits the same couples in the first book, and where the lives have taken them since they left the altar at The Chapel of Eternal Love
and being alive
Most of us get caught in that corner far too often - sounds like a little escape might be in order, Sara.
Sometimes though, it shoves and I shove back. That's when I get to smile. Knowing that I really do have the power to lock the door.
