I want to be a light for you

An array of bright colors shinning through

And even if turned this way and that

Still reflecting radiance you can look at

The colors might change from day to day

This morning the hue of a blue jay

Tomorrow as crimson as a red sleigh

But always sparkling in your mind's display

Never more to go away

Or turn to the side and betray

For if life and love are true to be

Then life and love is what we'll see

Certain as the diamond sky

I want you to find sunshine, not darkness, in my eye
