Poets are the painters
crammed with
the patriotic
sentiments of love
born to paint
the walls
of the Earth
with the
liberal brushes
of their heart
for they discern that
love is above life
and life is beneath love.

Love is indeed the common bond, the country to which all of mankind belong and suscribe, and in which we can all share a fellow patriotism. She is the Nation which we will kill or die for... beautifully sketched write that has all of life's length and breadth within it's scope. Thank you. Kate xx
